At Pawsitively Pets, we know that your dog learns best when they're having fun. We also know that owners and dogs bond best when both are enjoying themselves. That’s why we use positive methods in all our classes.
We are currently growing and new classes will be offered shortly, however for now we just run Pawsitive Partnerships; a fun course to help you teach your dog basic manners and obedience whilst building the bond between you and your dog.
Over a duration of 8 weeks, the course covers different behaviours such as sit, down, stand, leave, stay, recall, lead walking, body handling and working around distractions. Each session is around an hour long and because we only accept a maximum of 6 dogs to a class, each ‘team’ (dog and handler) gets plenty of one on one time to ask questions and practice during each exercise.
Currently, classes are being held at St Timothy’s Church Hall, Slinn Street, Crookes on Friday evenings from 7:30 but they must be booked in advance; we won't be able to accept newcomers on an ad hoc basis.
Each ‘team’ will receive a free ring binder to contain their course handouts, a free clicker and 10% off anything from the Pawsitively Pets shop for the duration of their course. Do keep checking back for information on other courses including upcoming Rally Obedience classes!
